What I treat.

The kind of doctor I grew up with. Someone who cares and is here for you and me.

Osteopathy treats people with problems. The emphasis is on treating the patient, not the symptoms. The dominant medical model focuses exclusively on the symptoms that the patient wants to be rid of. When they eliminate the symptom, the patient is considered cured.

Symptom elimination, which of course is why most of us go to the doctor, is important and I want it for all of my patients, but it is not the real way to help patients.

The media speaks incessantly of health care. We do not have health care. We have disease care. It is what most of us believe medicine is all about.

But there is more, so much more, that can be done for our patients.

And that extra something makes all the difference in the world.

It is why people come to me and tell their friends and family to come.

It is something very unique and, I believe, very beautiful and intimate.

And, yes, I can help you with your back pain.
