Chosen by NIH ( National Institutes of Health), National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine,  to write the chapter on osteopathy in their textbook, Essentials of Complementary and Alternative Medicine,  Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (Baltimore,1999)

Awarded the Sutherland Memorial Lectureship (2007). Each year the OCA ( Osteopathic Cranial Academy) presents this award to someone chosen for their contributions to the profession. The recipients form the honor role of osteopathy.
