Acupuncture.

I completed the UCLA Physician Training Program in Acupucnture (1991) and later was a table trainer for other physicians in this course. Since then I have taken many other acupuncture trainings (completion of Toyo Hari training [Japanese acupuncture]; Auricular Medicine; various methods of qi palpation, etc.).

I find that acupuncture is one of the most valuable ways I have found to help patients. Often we may think it is just for painful conditions and, indeed, it is remarkably effective for this. However, it is also very useful for many other issues that are functional, emotional, and  neurological.

The diagnosis of the pulses, the abdomen and general palpation of the various acupuncture meridians is the necessary basis for any treatment.

Without acupuncture, I could not get some of the results I do get in helping patients.
